Our History and Evolution: The importance and necessity of this institution was to address the needs of life that resulted from the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. In June  of 1967, The society was initiated by a total of eleven Palestinian figures and launched by the name of the Red Crescent Society of the Gaza Strip, where it got permission to license in June 1969 and was allowed to officially practice on January 1, 1972.
